Two 7.2 KV Harmonic Filters
Phaseco
partnered with Houston Lighting & Power's Energy Service Company
to provide Ameriforge with two 7.2 kV 3.6 MVAR automatically controlled
power factor correction and 5th harmonic filter units. These units
were installed in the customer's 138 kV sub-station. Phaseco provided
complete filter design, and equipment as well as all civil and electrical
construction and complete start-up and commissioning.
