DESCRIPTION:

Automatic low voltage harmonic filters and power factor correction capacitor systems are designed to automatically switch "ON" or "OFF" to maintain a desired target power factor level as well as maintaining harmonic content to within IEEE-519 standards, under varying load conditions on the low voltage distribution systems. Each stage of the systems is tuned to the same frequency thereby insuring parallel resonance does not occur. In systems where multi-frequency harmonic suppression reactors are employed they are staged so that the lowest frequency stage is energized first and is turned off last. These systems are extremely well suited for hospitals, commercial office towers, large hotels, casino's, medium sized manufacturing facilities, governmental and aerospace facilities.
