DESCRIPTION:
Static medium and high voltage multi-frequency harmonic filters
and power factor correction capacitor systems are designed to maintain
a desired power factor level as well as maintaining harmonic content
to within IEEE-519 standards. These units are excellent in systems
where multi-frequency harmonic suppression is required. These systems
incorporate both air core reactors and resistors to increase the
filter efficiency. These filters are easy to install and require
a minimum of set-up time thus not requiring field support personnel.
Maintenance is relatively simple allowing most firms to use trained
in house personnel or local contractors to perform the required
work. These units are available in voltage ranges from 2.4 KV to
69 KV and range in MVAR value from as small as 2.0 MVAR to as large
as 30-70 MVAR.
